Wondering what to expect when you visit?

First Christian Church of Ontario is welcoming and hospitable to all. Our services are relaxed, multicultural, inclusive, and designed to help you connect with God and community. If you REGISTER YOUR VISIT with us before Sunday, we will be sure to have a small gift for your family when you arrive. Expect vibrant worship, teaching, and a friendly environment where all are valued. There is no dress code and folks are encouraged to wear whatever is comfortable. We are located on the second floor the historic Bethel Congregational Church building in downtown Ontario. When you arrive you will find directional signs posted with the RED CHALICE to conveniently guide you to our meeting space. We hope you will attend a Sunday worship service to experience the joy of community and prayer every week at 11:30am.

Visitor FAQ and Service Details

  • 1 Dress Code: None—dress in a way that is comfortable for you
  • 2 Service Length: About 1 hour
  • 3 Accessibility: We meet in an upper room, so navigating stairs is necessary
  • 4 Children's Program: Children are welcome to stay with parents during worship or attend a special children's program for elementary aged children offered every Sunday during worship
  • 5 Weekly Communion: We celebrate communion every week. We serve communion from the table, which means that everyone is invited to approach the table to receive bread and grape juice to take individually.
